- Is fuel included in the price?
- Yes. Fuel is included in every our rental, so there are no unexpected costs when you return.
- I'm arriving by car. Where can I park?
- There's a spacious public car park just a short walk from our private boarding point, making it easy to begin your day on Lake Como without any hassle.
- What is the relaxation area? Can I use it?
- Yes, of course. Before departure, you're welcome to relax in our lakeside garden, enjoy the peaceful surroundings from the comfortably furnished lakeside terrace, and savour the quiet moments before setting sail.
- Do I need a boating licence to drive your Boat on Lake Como?
- No. Our 40 hp Boat can be driven without a boating licence, in accordance with Italian regulations. It's one of the easiest and most enjoyable ways to discover Lake Como from the water, even if it's your very first boating experience.
- Is it difficult to drive a Boat without a boating licence?
- Not at all. Our Boat is designed to be simple and intuitive to operate, even if you've never driven a Boat before and don't hold a boating licence. Before departure, our skipper, Massimiliano, will guide you through a clear and reassuring 15-minute briefing, so you'll feel confident and ready to set sail.
- How many people can the Boat accommodate?
- The Boat is certified for up to six guests. For maximum comfort and freedom of movement, we recommend five guests. The spacious bow sun deck and comfortable aft seating area provide plenty of room to relax throughout the day.
- How much does it cost to rent the Boat?
- Every rental includes the Boat, fuel and full access to the Lakeside Garden and its guest amenities. Rates start from € 260 for a two-hour experience. For full pricing, please visit our rates page or contact us if you'd like advice on choosing the option that's right for you.
- Does the rental duration correspond to the actual time on the water?
- Yes. Registration, payment, departure preparations and the Boat briefing are all completed before your rental begins, ensuring that every minute of your booked experience is spent cruising on the Lake. Book two hours, enjoy two full hours on the water. Book three hours, enjoy three full hours...
- Is it better to book in advance?
- Yes, especially during spring and summer, when availability can be limited. Check our booking calendar to view available dates. If you have any questions or a specific request, feel free to contact us via WhatsApp, give us a call to speak directly with our skipper, Massimiliano, or send us an email. We'll be happy to help.
- What happens in case of bad weather?
- If weather conditions prevent your rental from taking place, you'll be able to reschedule your experience or receive a refund in accordance with our rental policy. Read our policy.
- Can I bring food and drinks on board?
- Of course. A day on the Lake is meant to be enjoyed at your own pace, whether that means sharing lunch, raising a toast or simply relaxing together. We simply ask that you treat both the boat and Lake Como with care and respect.
- Where is your boarding point located?
- Our private boarding point is located at Via Regina 134, Brienno, just a short drive from Como. The Lakeside Garden offers exclusive access for our guests and enjoys a central location, making it easy to reach many of Lake Como's most iconic destinations. After booking, you'll receive detailed directions to help you find us with ease.
- What should I bring on the day of my rental?
- We recommend bringing: swimwear, a towel, sunscreen, sunglasses. Everything else is simply up to you and the kind of day you'd like to enjoy on the lake
- Can we swim during the rental?
- Yes. The Boat is equipped with a folding swim ladder, making it easy to enjoy a refreshing swim. We'll also be happy to recommend some of the lake's most beautiful and suitable places for swimming.
- How far are Lake Como's most iconic destinations from your boarding point?
- Our boarding point enjoys a central location on Lake Como. Isola Comacina is around 10 minutes away by boat, Villa del Balbianello about 15 minutes, while Bellagio, Varenna and many other iconic destinations are all within easy reach.
- Is there a minimum age to drive the Boat?
- Yes. The minimum age for the driver is 18.
- Is the boat insured?
- Yes. The boat is fully covered by third-party liability insurance.
- Can I change or cancel my booking?
- Yes. Changes and cancellations are handled in accordance with our booking terms and conditions. Whenever possible, we'll always do our best to offer the most flexible solution.
- Do I need to pay in full when booking?
- No. A deposit is required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance can be paid when you arrive on the day of your rental.
